My sessions are fast paced, informational and entertaining. For me sharing information I've gleaned from 27 years in Voice Over/TV/Advertising & improvisation is something I love to do . I feel when you can be convey your ideas in an entertaining manner it stays with attendees better. I prefer to teach as actors work up on mic rather then endless lectures and slide shows.I'm about practical application and confidence. This comes from getting in front of the mic and taking risks. As a coach who is also a working VO talent and Commercial Copy Writer I’m aware of current trends and where things are at any given time and where they are like heading. I write a much of the copy I use in my sessions for Improvisation training and Im collecting copy from multiple auditions each week so what they read is relevant and useful. I believe you can be very straightforward with actors without crushing they're confidence, in fact I think its imperative. If you consider each of my takeaways and ad some copy analysis you have the basis for a solid practical application auditioning strategy to increase the number and range of commercials VO Talent can compete for and that is my goal.
I’m an the very best at teaching these skill sets and I love to teach.
